WishWick Magic Wand
My girls asked for 'real Christmas magic' this year and this actually delivered. The look on their faces when the tree lit up on the first tap — I wasn't ready for it.

★★★★★Bought this as a stocking stuffer and it ended up being the whole show on Christmas morning. Easy to set up, and the music is a nice touch without being annoying.

★★★★★I was skeptical it would actually sync with our tree lights but it worked perfectly right out of the box. Feels well made, not flimsy like I expected for the price.

Ordering three more for next Christmas before they sell out. My sister has already asked where I got it.
Went back in its box in January and it is sitting with the decorations ready to go. The keepsake pouch was a smart inclusion.
It works, but I had to move the receiver away from the TV before it was reliable. Once I did that it has been perfect. Three stars for the setup faff, would be five now.
Sorry about the fiddly start Alan. Keeping it clear of other electronics does help and we are making that clearer in the guide.
Simple idea done properly. The stripes are crisp and it does not feel like a novelty item.
It has been dropped, thrown, used as a sword and slept with. Still working. That is the real review.

Works perfectly for the main tree. We have a second smaller tree upstairs and I would have paid more for a set that covers both.
Noted, thank you Bianca. Passing this to the team for next season.
We do a countdown and my son taps it at zero. It has become the thing that starts the evening. Did not expect a light switch to do that.
Was worried it would only work with a specific brand of lights. It works with the set we have had for six or seven years, which was a relief.
Ordered on a Tuesday and it turned up that Friday in a padded box with the gift box undamaged inside.
No children in this house. Still bought it. No regrets. It lives on the coffee table.
Everything works as described. The star glow is quite subtle in a bright room, though in the evening it looks lovely.
No app, no pairing codes, no account. Plugged the receiver in and it just worked. Refreshing.
Set it up before the grandkids visited and told them the tree only works for people who believe. Have not laughed that hard in years.
This is the best use of it we have heard yet. Thank you Margaret.
We leave it on the mantel next to the stockings and it looks like part of the decorations rather than a gadget. That was the thing that sold me.
It is 30cm which is stated clearly, I just had a bigger thing in my head. Once it arrived the size actually makes more sense for a child to hold.
Charged it once at the start of December and it was still going on New Years Eve. I use it maybe four or five times a day.
Only complaint is that I should have bought two. My boys have worked out a roster for who gets to switch the tree on.
Genuinely one of the nicest unboxings I have had from a small brand. Green box, gold detailing, everything sitting in its own little slot. Felt like opening something from a proper shop.
Love the idea and the look of it. There is a small delay between tapping and the lights coming on, maybe half a second. Not a dealbreaker but worth knowing.
Thanks for the honest note Michael. The delay is the wireless handshake and it should stay consistent.
Bought two as stocking fillers for my nieces. Both were a hit on Christmas morning and the packaging looked expensive enough that I did not need to wrap them properly.
Tested it from the kitchen which is maybe seven or eight metres away with a wall in between and it still triggered. No complaints.
I have a bad back and reaching the switch behind the tree every night was genuinely painful. Now I just tap it from the couch. Simple thing but it has made a real difference.
I assumed it would feel like a cheap plastic toy but it has a bit of weight to it and the paint is neat. The star lights up a nice warm gold rather than that harsh blue white.
Bought this on a whim and it has completely taken over our evenings. She waves it at the tree and the lights come on and she absolutely loses her mind every time. Worth it just for her face.
Thank you Hannah! This is exactly why we made it.
